It's been over three decades now, so I feel it's time to share with you that I live with symptoms of complex PTSD. I share this information with you because I am healing, and because I need to be free to express myself more fully. . One of the places I am able to be this free (read, without shame about how my mind works) is in my daily writing pages. I tell myself it is in those pages that I am safe. I am safe to write whatever I want. And today, when writing, I had the thought that they were safe to share; that sharing them would lead to understanding. . I might begin this as a regular thing, I might never do it again, but for today (and ever more), I open up and let you in. .
