Have I told you I received a two week residency at @greatislandarts starting June 22nd? Have I told you I got accepted into art school in the fall, at @yukonsova? Well, I did. And the journey has begun. . I'm staying with friends in Komoka for a couple of weeks. I went for a bike ride the other day, and met this turtle along the way... A reminder to listen to the Ojibwe people of Deshkan Ziibi and pay attention to the land (and it's people) as I travel across it; to give thanks, and offer something in return. Miigwetch, Turtle. .
