Here's an experiment: the only people I will call friends this year are those who are involved in 'Alone, together'. If you don't receive a letter from me, pick a different adjective to define our relationship. Like peer, or acquaintance, or fan of Lefty Smudges. Nothing else is true. . 'Alone, together' means everything to me, and so too do those who have stepped forward to support me in it.
